Smart Factory

Unmanned manufacturing strategy

Shengfang redefines the role of "human" in the electronic assembly process: "Humans" are indispensable; "humans" are also the source of problems. If decisions can be made by software, there are no human review points. "Humans" are auxiliary roles in automated manufacturing, not the primary executors. Robots are the direct actuators for welding, fastening, dispensing, and installation. "Humans" handle creative and unpredictable tasks.

#standardization

Quantification, informatization, standardization, and automation enable high-quality, high-efficiency, low-cost, and traceable manufacturing. Production capacity is only related to standard working hours, quality is only related to equipment precision, and cost is only related to product performance. "People" are only related to innovation.

#Quantitative

Full-scale strategy: Ensure one code for each item and one code for each event. Widely adopt intelligent scanning equipment to identify and collect data, triggering actions and replacing inefficient and error-prone manual processing methods.

#Process Streamlining

From the product design stage, the feasibility of unmanned manufacturing must be reviewed. Relying on fully automated data collection and the integration of the MES system, the entire manufacturing process is planned, predictive, real-time, and automated, with transparent and instantly shareable results.

Software and hardware

A lightweight, highly integrated software system covering the entire process from sales to manufacturing to after-sales service.

Data collection and process review are fully automated. No one may interfere with the system's operation without authorization. This ensures the smooth flow, efficiency, and accuracy of data.

Automated machinery is the executor of manufacturing.

In this new generation of manufacturing systems, for the first time in centuries, "humans" have been relegated to a supporting role. All manufacturing operations are performed by automated machinery (robots, robotic arms, AGVs). Humans assist these machines in their tasks. The machinery delivers standardized, efficient, accurate, and stable production processes. All results and data are real-time, reliable, and predictable.

MES

Automation of logistics is key to unmanned factories.

The foundation of automation is quantification, standardization, process optimization, and information technology.
All automated equipment operates within a loop of code, process, and data. They only recognize numbers, processes, and instructions.
The person who builds this system must have strong system planning ability, logical reasoning ability, quantitative work ability, industrial engineering ability, and interdisciplinary knowledge.

Extensive use of 3-4-6 axis collaborative robots

The most efficient collaborative robot

Fewer axes mean higher machining speeds.

Based on FFT analysis of manufacturing motions, we extensively use four-axis SCARA robots to handle the insertion, assembly, welding, and handling of irregularly shaped parts; three-axis robots are more suitable for simple, repetitive, and rapid processing. Durability, stability, and high cost-effectiveness are their advantages. Most of our testing systems utilize three-axis systems.

Six-axis robots are better suited for complex handling tasks, such as transporting materials, semi-finished products, and finished products on and off the production line, and packaging.

DARKMATRIX selects the most suitable automated equipment to complete specific production processes. This satisfies both quality and efficiency requirements while significantly reducing the cost of unmanned manufacturing.

Unmanned logistics system

The logistics system accounts for 60% of the manufacturing work.

To achieve unmanned manufacturing, the first step must be to automate the logistics system. DARKMATRIX, in collaboration with HIKROBOT/QINGLIU SOFTWARE, has implemented fully automated logistics using cutting-edge concepts and a minimalist approach. From order placement to SQE review, material delivery scheduling, receiving and shelving, and finally, material dispatch, the entire process is autonomously managed by the system, requiring no human intervention.

With the absolute consistency of accounts, goods, and cards under the logistics system management and the millisecond-level data refresh speed, Shengfang Company can know the delivery date of the order as soon as the customer places the order.

DARKMATRIX Future Industries

Modular, unmanned manufacturing shortcut solutions

Unmanned manufacturing is the hottest topic today, but also the most perplexing. This is because all the preparatory work before realizing unmanned manufacturing is so inconspicuous, yet indispensable.

DARKMATRIX achieves various complex manufacturing requirements using the simplest principles. The solution is based on the same principle as "FFT": complex processes are combinations of simple actions. Furthermore, it possesses the ability to quantify everything. Only quantified information can enable: identity verification, statistics, analysis, sorting, capture, and retrieval, without human intervention—the foundation of unmanned manufacturing. Next is a deeply customized software system designed for unmanned operation. This system greatly simplifies the software process, automatically collecting, deciding, and uploading data. 95% of nodes require no manual review or approval. Therefore, while improving efficiency, it significantly reduces operating costs.

Ubiquitous smart scanning devices

Component identification, command issuance, and data aggregation

Every processing, manufacturing, and testing point is equipped with intelligent scanning devices. These devices can quickly identify QR codes representing component characteristics in complex environments, and the information read during the scan is used for three purposes: first, as data acquisition results uploaded to the MES; second, as signals to trigger actions, driving the immediate start of equipment such as printers and testing instruments; and third, for flow tracking.

Material carrier

The entire logistics system has only 4 types of vehicles.

Through analysis and summarization, we found that only four standard carriers are needed to meet the standardized loading, transportation, and shelving requirements of all materials. This greatly simplifies route planning and product selection for automated machinery.
